Last year’s Buffalo Bark in the Park was a big success, and managed to draw a large number of pooches and their people to Delaware Park’s Gala Waters (Hoyt Lake).

It’s great to see an event such as this gaining so much ground. There have been other pet festivals in Buffalo over the yers, but this one appears to have what it takes to become a crowd favorite in years to come.

The reason for the incredible turnout was not simply the beautiful park setting, it was the vast array of participating vendors that set up at the affair, including (this year’s line-up):

716 Dog Pack
Buddy’s Second Chance Rescue
City of Buffalo Animal Shelter
Buffalo Underdogs Rescue
Paws & Awws Photography
The Silver Lining for Pit Bulls, Inc.
BrewDogs & FeWines
Cooper Loves Sophie
Nickel City Animal Hospital
Dog Days of Buffalo
Laura’s Critter Care, LLC
The Laundromutt
Kindermutt
Hound Fresh
Nickel City Animal Hospital
Rebel Riders Rescue
Drift Woodworking
Simply Plain Fancy

Then, you have to take into consideration the food trucks and beverage stands that set up, which made the event even more tantalizing:

FOOD TRUCKS:
Fat Bob’s Smokehouse
Sweet lisa
Carnivorous

BEVERAGES:
Ashker’s Juice Bar – Bistro – Gallery
Community Beer Works

Add to that, a pet parade and contest, free welcome bags for the first 200 attendees, and free PAWrent Tips by Dog Days of Buffalo, and this event is simply paradise for dog lovers and their four legged friends.
